June 2026 eNewsletter - Summer Solstice

Greetings,

Recently the sun rose at its most northern position on the eastern horizon. Summer is upon us.

As always, the days are now long while the nights are short. Already, some fruits and seeds are ready for harvest. Soon the fall harvest season will be upon us all.

We in this new world spend most of our time on electronic marvels, unaware of the natural world surrounding us. I suggest that during the day you listen to the air. Listen to the water. Feel the fire from the Sun.

They have messages to tell you.

At night, go outside and use your senses. Perhaps you will feel the moisture in the air coming from Calen (the Pacific Ocean).

Perhaps you will hear the yelps of the coyote clans after a kill.

Maybe you will be unfortunate and hear a great horned owl announcing the death of a neighbor or loved one.

Our senses were given to us as a gift. Use all of them.

The weather is good. Go outside and enjoy the natural world. You may be surprised what you may sense.
