Dear Friends of AMLT,

Since time immemorial, Indigenous communities have recognized Solstice as a time to tell stories. Traditionally, stories are told by elders to pass down knowledge about the land, human relatives, and traditions. In the telling of them, they are also sharing their spirit and the spirit of their ancestors. We honor those who have harnessed that spirit and laid the path for where we are today. We know we stand on the shoulders of visionaries and thought leaders in this work, and we are grateful for their guidance and encouragement.

As we now move into winter, a time of stillness and contemplation, we pause to reflect on the past ten years of AMLT and wish to offer our deepest appreciation for all who have joined and supported us on this journey. It has been because of this community that AMLT has been able to lay down its roots, grow into what it is today, and continue to expand into the next decade with a strong sense of purpose and an even stronger foundation from which to build. We are here because of you, and we will honor your commitment by working even harder to continue the legacy you have helped build. We thank you!
